Day 29 // Procedure Tomorrow

Hi guys,

Not much to report today, as JoAnne's hip procedure has been bumped to tomorrow (Thursday).

This happens sometimes with evening procedures... things get backed up in the OR from delays throughout the day, or priority surgeries just come up. Anyway, she'll be going in tomorrow morning! We'll let you know how it all goes as soon as we hear from Dr. Madey.... likely mid-day.

JoAnne slept most of the day today, and looked healthy and restful. We gave her arm, leg and neck rubs and she got caught up on politics via CNN... She had a bit of a fever in the morning, but it was down by the this afternoon, and she was able to process a bit more food, which is good news!

We are really looking forward to seeing Jan again this weekend. Jan was JoAnne's college friend (the one who gave her her 1st B) and was here for almost an entire week earlier in the month. She'll be in town to hold down the fort with Nick on Saturday while Kelty and I host an alternative wedding show (www.SpokenFor.com) just a mile or two away from Emanuel. Jani will even be there with us, taking tickets and helping out. It's so good to know what amazing support we've got!  :)
